Search Entries
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Watauga County Released Inmates does not store or log those query terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its receipt and handling of the search.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the information in it is retained as needed to read and answer the request. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Details
Standard logs and measurement services may collect technical information when a page loads. This may include:
- the connecting IP address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring site, when supplied; and
- the date and time of the request.
